Homemade Cranberry Salad

February 10, 2009 by: goober

Ingredients to make Cranberry Salad:

1 lb. fresh cranberries
5 apples of choice

1 8 ounce can crushed pineapple
1/2 cup black walnuts (or desired nuts)
3 cups sugar

Preparation Instructions:

Slice the apples into wedges or chunks, you can either peel them or leave the peel on. Place the apples and cranberries in a blender and grind them together.

Remove the mixture from the blender and add the nuts, sugar and crushed pineapple and blend well. Refrigerate for 24 hours before serving to allow the flavor to soak into the fruits. More sugar can be added if desired.
